Eco-Friendly Clubs
Eco-Friendly Clubs in Government and Don Bosco Schools for Improving the Environment, Food Security, and Quality of Life in Nepal
Nepal, renowned for its rich biodiversity and breathtaking landscapes, is increasingly facing pressing environmental challenges including deforestation, pollution, soil degradation, and the growing impacts of climate change. Addressing these issues is vital not only for environmental sustainability but also for ensuring a healthier and more secure future for generations to come.
In response, Eco-Friendly Clubs have been established in several Government and Don Bosco Schools across Nepal. These clubs aim to instill environmental awareness among young people, promote sustainable practices, strengthen local food security, and improve the overall quality of life in their communities.
This report presents a comprehensive overview of the formation, objectives, activities, achievements, challenges, and strategic recommendations for these clubs. Over time, these clubs have become an influential platform for cultivating environmental responsibility among children and youth, creating positive ripple effects within families and communities.
